History
Purchased in 2010 on the north coast NSW. Previous owner had Mercedes badge glued on top of the Toyota one - must have always wanted an SLS (Toycedes...). Sorted radiator top tank, timing belt and door struts in first service, all else fine. Since done a family (4 people + vacuum sealed luggage) round trip driving holiday from northern tablelands NSW to Tasmania. Ran out of tyres in Melbourne - new set of Eagle F1 directional 5s ready for the Tasmanian leg (so good to drive these roads on new tyres).
Now as the family is getting taller... weekend drives + show and shines. Trying to keep it as original as possible. New hobby is searching for stock of body and interior spares from Japanese auctions.
Modifications
Trying to keep it as original as possible: Factory SLSS sound system including subwoofer, dealer optional (japan) VOLK RACING Group A-V 2 piece wheels. Glass roof sunshades intact. No body kit upon Australian compliancing (thank goodness). Factory monogram floor mats. Looking for an umbrella style factory cover.
