History
Purchased September 14th 2018 in South Australia, this car (Maggie) had travelled the Birdsville track earlier on in it's life and was a very much loved family car. In 2006 it was purchased and restored back to it's former glory by the previous owner who was a VW fanatic. The engine (1500cc) had been sourced to replace the original 1500cc that had been bored out to 1600cc to try and get as close to original as possible, and resprayed in it's original colour Birch Green. This car is my daily drive and never fails to put a smile on my face or the many others who see it go by. It'll continue to be a much loved addition to my family... and potentially many more VW's in the future.
