Bought this hz wagon as my first car off a wrecking yard in 2009 for $1500, no rust or damage however running rough.
The original 202 engine block had a crack down the length, so a replacement was sourced, hotted up a bit, and installed before rego.
Fast forward some months and the diff gets noisy, so a 10 bolt 3.08 is sourced to replace the banjo.
Auto transmission was upgraded to a celica w54 box shortly after. She was my daily drive for the following 7 or 8 years until i got a work ute, so the wagon was transferred to a club permit.
The motor was then removed in favour of a long term 308 build that had been going on for quiet a while, which was installed in my garage at hom along with q supra w58.
The w58 lasted for one drive before a second neutral was created.
A falcon was installed.
Fast forward 2 years and the 308 and t5 is removed and traded for an ls1 and t56 combo in search for more drivability.
Here she sits in may 22 with the ls1 and t56 in and running, awaiting the crewman ss diff modifications to round out the running gear upgrades.
