I have recently inherited both a Coupe 7 & a Coupe 9. I am looking at restoring the 9 as it was my grandfather's car.
My 1300 has been sitting behind my fathers shearing shed since the mid 90s. Prior to that it was my grandfather's and he lived in Chinchilla in QLD. I never realized the significance of the car until recently or else I would have stored it inside a shed.
Engine hasn't turned since the 90s but when it was parked behind my father's shed, it apparently was purring like a kitten. I've been told that my grandfather had rebuilt the engine not long before they were parked.
