Bought it in 1988 owned it until 1999...thought I got a good deal when I sold it....boy was I wrong looking at what they are worth now but I guess hindsight is a wonderful thing. Best car I ever owned and I have had plenty. My only true regret in life was selling this car as it was a huge part of my youth and had so many fun times in that car. Would love to know where it is now.
Modifications
9 inch detroit locker diff, Worked engine with 11:1 pistons, 650 Holley, Redline semi hi rise manifold, Holley blue fuel system, Sig Erson TQ30 cam from memory all balanced and blue printed it revved dam hard. Once engine was built screwed two uni joints off the back of the box and destroyed 2 x M21 boxes so bit the bullet and fit a beefed up Supra 5 speed in it and was brilliant. Had a 3.56:1 1st gear ratio compared to the M21 which was around 2.54:1 so off the mark it was slaying most things at the local Kooragang Island Sunday night illegal drags back in the day
