OMG, I loved this car and also loved that it was easy to fix yourself if something went wrong! The HR Special did have metal strips down the sides but had them removed when the car was re-sprayed. Drove the PANTS off this car and with the 650 Holley Carb, it would do 100 Mile an Hour!
Modifications
650 Holley Carb and the rest was 100% Original! The re-spray was about 12 coats (and a Clear) over the top. I still think that I should have done a 'Street Machine' submission all those years ago, (30+ years, lol)
