History
Hi guys (and girls), this is my much beloved wagon that i had stripped down and rebuilt with continual by my step-brother and father. The car attended many local static shows and the odd drag day in the mid - late 00's. Sadly, after a string of bad luck, the car no longer exists, but am very looking forward to building a new and improved version of the 'original concept'.
Modifications
The car was stripped down completely and sent to my step-brother panel shop for some rust removal, straightening, smoothing and setting up the front end to accept it Scorpion 'facelift'. Although there are very few similarities between the Sigma and Scorpion, the transformation was relatively simple. The guards on both cars were cut in half, the rear half of a Sigma, was welded to the front half of the scorpion. We welded in the headlight plates off the Scorpion and the wiring for the seperate headlights was altered accordingly. After that, the Scorpion bonnet bolted on, front bumper replaced the original plastic setup, lights were adjusted correctly and (at least to my knowledge) the very 1st Scorpion was made. The car had recieved Sigma GSR wheels with 205/60 fronts and 235/60 rears. The exhaust was a custon setup with a set of Lukey TRI-Y's, cutting off the collector and setting up a pair of 2" pipes running down either side of the car, finishing off with a pair of twin 3" chrome dump tips. The diff was also changed over from the original to a Ford 9" LSD running sigma disc brakes and 3.5 ratio
