History
I have owned my RC45 from new. Honda MPE initially imported 14 RVF 750s (RC45) at the beginning of 1994 of which four went straight to the race team. Three were immediately full HRC race fitted for Anthony Gobert and Kirk McCarthy with the fourth of that quarter used as display bikes. I managed to buy the last one. I sent my bike to Clyde Wolfenden head of the Honda Race Team. It took two visit's and $90.000 to get the motor to the same spec's as Anthony and Kirk race 45s Ken Wootton of AMCN did two stories on my RC45. Last story was vol 45 no 21 mar 22-april 4 1996 AMCN.
Modifications
All HRC modifications and parts,Higher compression Piston's and rings,gudgeon pins, Heavier clutch and springs, Magnesium clutch cover, Heavier valve springs, cut polished head, cams,larger radiator, full HRC race exhaust, race tank, carbon fiber air box, larger carbon fiber air intakes, HRC endurance CDI and PGM-F1 which has provision for lights.
