This picture was taken in 1999. I loved this bike so much, my first real supersport after my first two bikes which were parallel twins.
Bought from a wreckers in Adelaide with a couple of things needing fixing, I rode it over 400km’s home on a permit even though we had towed a trailer there just in case.
This bike taught me what real power and speed was like, the grip was great and I could get the front wheel in the air.....woohoo!!
Sadly I almost died on this bike, travelling home from a motorcycle safety course at the Mildura Sunset Drag Strip, I was T-boned by an old bloke that ran a give way sign, breaking my leg and destroying the bike........took a year to walk again, unaided.
