This bike was my second roadie and cost $2500 second hand. I think it was a ’90 but couldn’t find anything to verify this.
The blue rims and gold pinstripe I wasn’t able to find when googling images so if anybody knows, please let me know?
The bike is long gone and I only had it for less than a year during 1998. There wasn’t much extra power over my old CB350 but it was a lot more comfortable to ride and reliable.
It came to an untimely end when heading to the river in December with my wife on the back, both of us in shorts and T-shirt, we were met on a blind bend by 3 dirt bikes side by side on a dirt road.....nowhere to go. The bike on our side of the track slid sideways into us and stopped us dead in our tracks. The front end was pushed back into the motor and the square tube frame had compressed on both sides below the tank. Sold to a bike wrecker for $500.......no insurance and the idioit that hit us was unregistered and unlicensed......oh, and an unemployed loser.
