History
Original owner is unknown, I acquired from the 2nd owners in Robinvale.
This 3.5 tonne Nissan/Datsun cab over truck is known as the C80 and this one was used to cart fruit to Melbourne, and for its final for two years on the road was carting fresh fruit grapes from Robinvale to Euston until 2008.
The truck has been sitting for 10 years now but was a working truck when parked so we're hoping it isn't too difficult to coax back into life.
Should make a neat car carrier for my '77 240k Datsun :)
I should point out that while there is a big 'N' (Nissan) badge on the front, the compliance plate actually reads as a Datsun 4/73 build.
After connecting with another C80 owner recently, it came to our attention that a C80 came with a 3 litre engine (H30), whereas my C80 has a 4 litre (H30).
I have a parts manual that identifies the engine options between petrol and diesel but no 4 litre version is mentioned.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
