We purchased this car at the end of August 2020 after it had sat idle for 6 years approximately.
We pumped up the tyres, fitted a battery, filled the radiator and squirted some fuel in the carby.
It started right up and was pumping fuel after a minute or two, which it actually ran on.......6 year old fuel!!
I guess low compression sidevalve engines aren't as fussy :)
After getting the car home and washing it, changing the oil and checking all the fluids, we have identified a few issues to work on but it will be a relatively easy path to putting it back on the road.
