History
This big beauty was purchased from a garage in Ouyen a couple of years ago where it had sat for an unknown amount of years.
It had always been shedded so the story goes, but had been used as it was made to be.......hard and frequent.
The truck has survived any major damage and was easy to get fired up and is running well.
The truck is all original apart from having an electric fuel pump installed, and the motor has at the least, had the heads changed as they have EAC stamped on them, not the 8RT they should have.
It still runs 6 volt and with a reconditioned started spins over easily.
The gearbox is the original 4 speed floor shift and it has the 2 speed diff with dual wheels.
The old girl actually drives on the road pretty well, and has got the old man entertaining fantasies of visiting the transport hall of fame in the NT for their big gathering which is coming up in the near future I think.
If you see us, give us a honk!!
