History
Had the car since I first got my licence at 18. 43 years, 2 x paint jobs, 4 kids, 3 x exes and a hell of a lot of good times, I am nearly ready to finish what I started. This car was stripped & sandblasted back to bare metal with not a bolt left in it before being reassembled. Now all I need to do is remember where all the parts are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Modifications
Only original HR parts are the body,both new front guards(genuine GMH guards),new roof lining and new front floor panel, dash(X2) and premier interior. Modifications are: 350ci Chevrolet engine,4 speed Muncie gearbox,10 bolt shortened Chev diff,LH Torana rack & pinion steering,sun roof, XB falcon rear view & side mirrors, GTHO aluminium rear spoiler, A9X Torana bonnet scoop, extractors go out through the inner guards with chain surrounds. Appliance 8" x 14" Gold Striker steel wheels, dual brake system with HQ ventilated disc brake front end with HQ drum brake rear end, aluminium drop tank for fuel, full chassis kit, HG Holden grill, HD Holden indicators & 5 core radiator.
Memories
Been trying to finish this since 1983, Work & family were more important. Maybe retirement might give me more time, when it happens.
