Purchased this car new in 1962 from a sports car dealer in Sydney [ MG dealers had a waiting list ] paid over list price 1365 pounds ,
Carried out some engine modifications @ 10000 miles waggot cam port and polished combustion chambers skim head ,re jet twin SU carburettors
Tune motor on rolling dyno [showed 90 hp @rear wheels ,MG B's had 95 hp to flywheel Car was electrically timed on con-rod straight Bathurst @ 108 mph
Modifications
Modified 1.8 ltr 3 main bearing crank .would rev to 6600rpm
