History
I purchased the SA22C Mazda Rx7 with a 12ABPT as I had one in my teens. It turned out to be a full restoration project, new paint, new interior, new running gear, wheels and much more.
The Rx7 is here too stay, with popularity forever increasing, she is a collector.
Now she is running a 13BBPT
Modifications
Series 5,13B injected Turbo Rotary Motor,
Complete Motor build, modifications and engine bay work completed by Monster Performance in Sydney.
New internals including: New housings, rotors etc, Bridge Ported.
Brand New Garrett 67mm Roller bearing turbo, 50mm turbo smart waste gate,
2 x Bosch 1050cc injectors,
2 x Bosch 1650cc injectors,
Upgraded Fuel system, braided fuel line, 560 fuel pump,
Exhaust system replaced, new manifold and dump pipe,
New Microtec ECU, dyno tuned,
Turbo smart eboost 2 controller,
All wiring , vacuum lines hidden away for that tidy appearance.
Body and paintwork completed in Porsche Blue by Macarthur Autobody in Campbelltown.
Interior was sourced after several years of looking from Melbourne, beautiful and original S2 velour trim and seats in immaculate condition.
Although I have preserved the original S2 Rx7 alloys, I have chosen to fit a staggered set of ProDrag alloy rims which set off the car beautifully with that Phat stance.
Car sits on slightly lowered King Springs and Koni Shocks, eventually upgraded to a full set of coil overs setting that ride perfectly.
Rx7 parts are NOT easy to come by these days, reproduced parts are not made, so sourcing excellent replacement bits is an exercise.
