History
This car was built in Texas using optional Studebaker parts. The engine is R2 supercharged and rated at 290 hp. The gearbox is a Borg Warner close ratio T10 and the differential has a highway friendly 3.31 ration.
I purchased this car in Arizona in 2003 because the drive train had been upgraded to the optional high performance items that could be purchased from 1963 onwards.
A body on refurbishment was completed between 2006 and 2007. I disassembled the car for painting and reassembled it afterwards. In 2009 the engine was rebuilt and in 2010 the Supercharger was also rebuilt.
Since the refurbishment was completed the car has travelled over 30,000 miles attending car club events. In that time the car has been very reliable and never let us down.
