Purchased as a 240Z in 1988. Resprayed red. 2.8 litre engine installed to replace 240Z engine that had thrown a conrod.
The 240Z was crashed in 1991 by a friend, so this 260Z was purchased and all the good running gear was transferred to the 260Z.
Modifications
2.8 litre engine bored and stroked to 3.1 litres. 220 hp at the wheels.
Aluminium flywheel installed.
Throttle body fuel injection with Wolf 3D engine management.
Coil-over suspension with Koni gas inserts.
Bigger ventilated brake discs at the front.
