History
I inherited this 1949 Stroud Panther from my father in 2009 as he was no longer able to ride due to his poor health. Unfortunately my father passed away in 2014 and the bike basically sat in my garage. In 2019 decided to restore it, but with a few modifications and I really liked the idea of a polished copper tank, with the complimentary green leather bobber seat. It is running, but not very well but the plan for the next 12 months is to get it running reliably so I can ride it for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Sydney in 2022. I have done the past 2 DGRs on my 1984 BMW R65 Cafe Racer, another bike I inherited from my father.
