Purpose built Period 5 road racer. 2nd in 2009 Aus Historic titles, 3rd at Phillip Island World Super Bike historic support race, in 2010. Plus many other excellent results, for a 227kg unlikely racer!
Modifications
Frame de raked to quicken steering, engine lifted 40mm in frame to give cornering clearance and help with rigididty , as the engine is a stressed member of the frame.
Paint work, by Airvolution Kustom Art 0411 849 005. Stainless steel 6 into 6 exhaust system, by Pipemasters. Engine 1147cc, modified inlet cam, ported inlet tracts, Carrillo rods, Keihin CR 31mm carbs. 39mm CBX front forks and Wilbers rear shocks, modified by T.M Performance. Metmachex, period, braced alloy swing arm.Honda 3.5 x 17 front rim, Kawasaki, 4.5 x 17 rear rim, with slick tyres.
1100R replica seat unit. Tingate, clip on handle bars.
