brought the mk2 via ebay, had a 1973 series 1. nice car but loved the lines and curves of the mk2
started working on body mods almost straight away.
at this stage l have modified just about every thing,....l'm not a purest at all. really the mk2 a test bed

reco 4.2 standard 8:1 comp balanced engine series 3 head special lenghtened distributor by PERFORMANCE IGNITION SERVICES
redigned inlet manifold to suit eaton m90 supercharger.
gmh turbo 700 4 speed auto gearbox.
redigned diff housing and springs
electric windows central locking
front guards widened by 100mm to house wide wheels, rear spats filled in. 16 rims series 3 brake upgrade all round split braking system.
fuel filler flap filled in, and a series 1 filler cap located under rear window and boot
