History
Second owner purchased car from Gemfields Qld, modified body and engine, and resprayed in green. Third owner didn’t progress with car. I purchased car with engine in pieces in boot. Police ordered I remove, moulded flares, wide tyres, and twin system, so lost interest and traded GTR on 79 HZ Ute.
Modifications
Previous owner was an apprentice panel beater / spray painter and cut out rear wheel arches then fitted and moulded SLR front flares to accommodate 13 x 10” rims on rear. Front guards were stretched and flared, and car was respayed dark metallic green with “Starsky and Hutch” style body stripes added and a Footrot Flats Dog mural on the bonnet. I added 14 x 10” rear Speedy wheels and retained 13 x 7” fronts. Built and installed the 208 stroker, fabricated a twin exhaust system and fitted a stereo and CB radio. Pretty bogan stuff by today’s standards
