History
I bought the car from a fellow soldier in Townsville. She was a tired old girl that I repainted and made a little more reliable with extensive repairs to her running gear. Sadly she met her end one wet night in Townsville when a mate who was driving her collided with a power pole. The sad part about it was that I had traded her with the local Holden dealer for a brand new Sandman van. I had to wait for the new Sandman to be shipped from Brisbane to Townsville. The new Sandman arrived four days after the Purple girl died so I never picked it up.
Modifications
None. Just a re-paint and a mechanical rejuvenation.
