History
Taken a few years to get it where it is - possibly a 355/383 stroker in the future but want to keep it to its Holden origins.
Factory paint aside a few touch ups I've done. (Alabaster White)
Indigo blue single tone velvet interior.
Drive line / suspension is from a VK BT1 -- worked 304 / built trimatic / 3k converter / etc.
Basic freshen up on the motor (see the mods section)
End goal for this car is to be a comfortable cruiser with a little get-up-and-go.
Next lot of things to be done:
- Doors closed respray + pinstripes.
- AC re-installed.
Modifications
304 VK block,
0 decked / 20thou flat tops,
Edelbrock dual plane performer manifold,
Port matched / polished L34 heads,
Hardened valves, rods, etc.
Crane H276 cam, anti-pump lifters,
Built Holley 600 1850 carb,
Built/curved Bosch dizzy,
Built Trimatic / 3k stall,
Shortened / built borgwarner diff (50mm shorter either side),
Genuine v1 Convo Pros 15x4 fronts, 15x8.5 rears,
SuperPro bush kit / OEM VK SS suspension / adjustable panhard,
'Brock style' exhaust genie extractors / stainless twin 2.25in into single 2.5in in 3in out muffler / 3in dump rear tip
