History
Purchased in 2015 as a resto project.
Two known previous owners - one an old gentleman, the other was a guy that liked old cars but didnt really tinker.
I purchased with sole intention of making it the 80s street cruiser I always wanted.
I wasn't in the market for a V8, just a simple HEMI6 that had A/C that would cruise along the coast in summer.
My main job was getting the mechanical back up to scratch after years of neglect.
Engine gaskets, fittings, housing seals, recon carby, new manifold, all the hoses and a new radiator just to name a few.
Once the mechanical was up to scratch I was able to do the little things that I enjoyed to make it look a little tougher and sit a bit better on the road.
Only the little 245, but I'll be damned if anyone says these things dont pack a good punch for what they are. The torque on this thing was immense especially when I had Holley on it.
