History
I brought this Westfield in 2000 after I wrote off my first Westfield that I build myself in 1989. When I brought it was a very nice standard road going Westie, but I modified it into a trackday/road warrior which I occationally used in sprint and hillclimb competition. When I came to move to Australia from the UK in 2009 I needed the money, so we had to part company. The first owner after me took part in many trackdays before deciding to replace it with an academy Caterham. The car is now owned by David Llewellin, ex British Rally Champion, who is now competing it in hillclimbs in Wales with his son, where I understand he has set many class records. I would have loved to bring this car with me, but there were too many complications including financial. Maybe I will be able to replace it with something as least as special one day. For now I have a 1970 VW Beetle to play with, that will hopefully be Emmaâââ‰â¢s daily driver one day.
