History
Purchased the EK in 2010, it was already under restoration by the pervious owner, stripped done to just a shell in primer, he said there was no rust in the car and it looked straight,
had a 173 engine 3speed crunch box, trim & seats had already been restored, along with chrome bumpers and bird on bonnet, but not fitted. once we got it home I built a rotisserie and proceeded to strip the primer off too see what was under Neath, the pervious owner was partly right about the rust, lots of bog though, so I jumped in and stripped the car back to bar metal, cut out the rust welded new panels in, then sold all the running gear out of the car, spoke to my local engineer about what I can and cannot do, read the QLD transport guidelines twice and then purchased all the parts I wanted to complete the car with, it took 5 years to complete the car as I was only able to work on it on the weekends,
