History
The car was purchased by my auntie's best friend new from Boyded in Wollongong, it was her daily driver, always garaged. I purchased the wagon from her in 1996, drove it mostly on weekends, the longest drive being Sydney to Frankston, Vic, for the All Holden Day in 1998, I am sure this was the 1st time the car had been out of NSW. I decided to carry out a resto on the wagon in 2002, she was taken back to bare metal, by hand mostly, all rust removed, then repainted in the original colour, in acrylic paint, the resto was completed in 2008.
Modifications
The car has the original engine, bored out .030", and original upholstery. I have carried out a few mods which include the fitting of an original HR disc brake / power steer front end, fitted a number of NASCO accessories to the wagon including front & rear over riders, spats, door handle scratch plates, inner door pull handles, radio, front sunvisor, heavy duty air cleaner and an electric window in the tailgate.
