History
I purchased this Jaguar in 2015 with only 88,000 k's on the clock, complete with all the original log books and full service history. According to the service log books, the car was serviced every year at an average of only 4-5,000klm per year. I have done very little to this car except to maintain it. I have average only 2-3,000K's per year in this car so, as I bought this one for keeps. I am very keen to be contacted by other owners who have this model Jaguar as in my opinion, it is one of the best Jaguar saloons of our time. It represents a end to what I personally call a luxurious time in automobiles, when luxury in a car was quality timber, leather, and waft. Waft meaning a very soft and comfortable ride. A luxury ride that is hard to experience now a days in cars with hard sport's suspension and hard tyres due to very their very low profiles. Diesel, stop start gadgetry and hard sports suspension has done little to supress the noise of the modern car. The electric car is way ahead in drive technology especially when it comes to silence, but they certainly don't offer this kind of luxury and ride that I get in this Jaguar from the 90's. It's the difference between a common sofa or couch and a beautiful and very made Chesterfield sofa. I am not interested in fashion only style and beautifully made things.
Modifications
I have done no permanent modifications to this car. Just some small cosmetic touches. However the only real noticeable appearance to this car is the number plates which are now personalised to suit the car (JAG 696)
