History
Purchased this car around 1977 and restored it over a period of 6 years. I wanted a four seater convertible for the family and the choice was this or a Morris Minor. When the girls got older it sat unused for many years under the house and then at least five years in the mechanical workshop until they got around to it. Its got about 60,000 miles on the clock as in my time of ownership of 40+ years I have only done about 5-10,000 Miles in it. The tyres are the original that I put on it 35 years ago and still have most of their tread. I can't sell it because it is a part of my families life. This car was purchased soon after we moved into the house that we have live in for over 40 years, so it is kind of belongs here in this home.
Modifications
The original rims were widened by me about 35 years ago to fit modern radial tyres. Apart from that it is pretty much original.
