The car must'e had some love earlier in its life time as it has had a full body repray and was set up with a STINGER EMS piggy back ecu. With a VF35 it was making 180kw but had many running issues. I ended up getting the running issues tidied up while I waited till I could have a Link G4 Storm ECU installed. Once i had that installed I took it to get a full fresh tune but unfortunately it developed knock on the dyno. As i couldnt afford a full engine rebuild i opted for a rebuilt motor from a wrecked GF8. Never having experience with engine swaps before this it was a fun challenge that my Dad and I took on. It took 1 year to get all the new parts fitted and motor put in. Unfortunately we couldnt get it running. I took it too another shop and had a full new injector and fuel rail set up put in. They also installed a Process West Cold Air and FMIC kit in. After that I had clutch issues as i was supplied the incorrect clutch. My dad and I spent the next 2 months pulling the gearbox out and waiting for a new clutch. Once I had the clutch I installed it and we put the gearbox back in. Now the car was running and driving. I took it back to the shop to have the car tuned but on the dyno we discovered yet another issue, which ment the entire gearbox needed replacing. The next month the shop installed a new gearbox for me and got the car tuned. Now after 3 years of ownership im actually able to drive the car and im very happy with the turn out.
