Previous ( first ) owner was a farmer that had it sitting in a shed for twenty years. Bike was filthy but all original ...even the paint . Cosmetically just needed a good clean and surface rust removal on chrome parts. Some items were re-chromed. Replaced mufflers and wheels. Wheels were recalled back in the seventies for cracking, so replaced with better quality items from that time. Twenty year old brake fluid had gummed up the whole three disc system , so all new hoses . Brake masters and calipers were totally stripped down , cleaned and repainted , and Dot 5 ( silicone ) brake fluid now used . Thank you ' Rad ' for all that hard work and your endless patience ! Sump oil was also 20 year old goop !
