History
This Rambler American Convertible been in my family since 1983
it was purchased from the owner of the Echuca Motor Museum in Vic
it is a Canadian , Brampton built RHD car delivered new in Australia , 1 of 13 RHD world wide built , 8 were sold here
I rebuilt the car the first time as a 3rd year apprentice mechanic and stripped the car about 25 years ago to a bare shell for its current restoration
the major rust repairs , engine bay and underneath were completed last year .
the engine and driveline were installed to the bare body before the last of the body work and final painting by Mark and the guys at Castle Hill Smash
the body restoration is finished and i will complete the reassembly soon
Modifications
a front disc brake conversion has been sourced from American Parts Depot in the US
