History
Originally sold new in NSW, I bought it in 2015 with 300,000km on the clock. Now has 450,000km, the last 150,000km without leaving Tasmania. I love the adjustable airbag suspension system, and with the Torsen II Quattro makes it a very versatile vehicle. Great in snow, off-road, towing. Best vehicle I have ever had!
Has been remarkably cheap to run, apart from routine maintenance: I have replaced brake pads & rotors (front & rear); LHS CV joint; upper control arms and air bags (front); timing belts & water pump; alternator; 2 batteries. The injector pump came loose on one occasion, which resulted in a broken bearing housing and a tow to my Audi man. Regularly serviced every 15,000 km. I have had a few issues with micro switches and relays. A front windscreen was not fitted correctly, which resulted in a leak into passenger side footwell. All fixed without much trouble.
