Purchased from a car yard in about 2005 with 150xxxkms as a low km, immaculate car.
Factory Reef Green paint was an uncommon option which I was drawn too.
Over that time, the appearance of the car inside & out hasn’t much changed.
All of the work is under the bonnet.
Modifications
The car now sports a Saloon Car Series racing motor, with a custom Crow Cam. The motor has around 11:1 compression and drinks a cocktail of premium 100ron & E85 fuel. An EMS Stinger makes it all run and is tuned too around 200rwkw or around 240kw at the motor.
A custom intake pipe feeds the standard EL Falcon Intake manifold and Pacemaker Competition headers with custom lengthened primaries lead to the big 3inch exhaust system with a Lukey Race & hot dog mufflers try to dampen noise.
A manual T5 gearbox has been put in place of the factory 4 speed auto and at the end is an LSD differential with 3.7 gears.
At a recent dyno competition it netted 206rwkw & in June 2013 at the Australian Ford Forum Nationals I went a pb of 13.48@102mph.
Suspension is all Pedders Saloon Car package and brakes are DBA Slotted, Bendix SRT pads & EBC 307+ race fluid.
I have recently acquired a 330mm front brake fit to be fitted soon.
Inside, all the is changed is an aftermarket head unit, Isotta leather steering wheel & fire extinguisher.
Only exterior changes are the wheels that change regularly, aftermarket clear front indicators & side repeaters & a custom rear bumper that has the exhaust recess filled in.
