History
My first sportsbike, fastest I could afford at the time (the only quicker thing I could ride on my L plates was an Aprilia RS250 which was way out of my price range). Bike had been dropped when I purchased it but was mechanically A1. The 88 model is relatively rare in Australia and can be easily identified by the twin tail pipes either side of the back wheel (later models had both pipes on the same side). Power in the lower rev range was poor but became extremely lively above 8,000 rpm, true to its racing heritage.
