History
This “Chuki” Z31 300ZX Turbo was stored in a museum premises and has not been driven for almost 15 years as the previous owner is getting too old and has too many cars to drive. So, a bit of a barn find i think.
The owner before me has added this Z31 Turbo into his already over 20 vehicles collection in back in 1989 up until 2021 before to my custody (He has had Lamborghini Countach,Lamborghini Espada ,De Tomaso Mangusta,Alfa Romeo Montreal in his collections before).
I've spent serious 00,000’s of dollars in restoring this Z31 Turbo by using professional mechanic to get it done properly .After 5 month of restoration and original parts hunting process ,I've managed to put it back on the road in one go,when over the pits it passed with flying passing results. It's now on club plate only for shows and special event. To justify the amount of money spent on it, to me this is a very unique retro styled once famous Japanese iconic sport car . Also because of how original it’s condition is of the vehicle, clean good history and most importantly it was delivered new in WA and now still in WA after over 35years ; Therefore i reckon it's well deserved those money spent on it. It will holds it's value well and it's an appreciating classic.
This untouched very original Nissan Z31 300ZX Turbo has only 128,000km done to it since delivered new by Duncan Nissan in Western Australia back in 1986. When the car starts up, with the still original exhaust system it will purr quietly.
The condition of this 1986 Z31 Turbo is rust free , drive very smoothly and quite powerful for car of that era.Original radio and antenna works as it should (cassette not tried),Air-cond blows cold and hot air nicely. A true Japanese classic sport car.
Later add on by me was a set of period correct genuine SSR Long Champ XR4 in 5 studs (Enthusiast know how rare is this thing) 3piece modular rims that has set off this Z31 Turbo really well . It looks very 80s,iconic and turns head whenever it goes and I had lot's of conversations started at moment I walked out of this Chuki Z31 Turbo when driving out.
Interior and car seat is like new as it was supplied with lambs wool seat cover when it was delivered by Duncan Nissan.Dash no crack or warp.
Worth mentioning ,Z31 is the only Z that has pop up headlights design through out the entire Z production history.

Modifications
It has genuine SSR Long Champ XR4 15” staggered 3piece modular rims. (Still have the original rims.)
Full bodykit that was installed before 1989.
