I purchased the vehicle several years ago from Fair Nth Queensland site unseen & all negotiated over a landline with an old school Aussie with no mobile phone.
Once paid for i flew from Victoria to collect my much wanted ol school Torana but it was a little worse than it was described over the landline.
I took 4 week annual leave to enjoy the sunshine in FNQ but NOT to be.
Unfortunately over the next 4 weeks with the help from my best mate we stripped it completely down, carried out a full respray in the open bay garage in 35 degree heat, bolted it all back together & road freighted it back down to Victoria.
Once it landed i fitted a drop tank, new wheels, full exhaust system & a couple more little engine mods.
Now we enjoy cruses along the coast when the sun is shinning.
