History
I purchased this to put the 220kw motor and the ESS transmission in my AU LTD but on the delivery of the TE my mates and I realised that the body was in to good a condition to do what I wanted to do so we decided to save it. I’ve bought 2 AU cars the same colour for all of the body panels, another AU Fairlaine Sportsman for the leather seats and I have acquired some electric seat frames for the sportsman seat leather to go onto. It had a falcon dash fitted due to the former owner turning it into a track car and I’ve managed to track down its original dash. I finally made a start on it removing the falcon dash and preparing to fit the climate control heater box, carpet and the correct dash. I have hit a problem with there’s a loom missing that runs the ESS so I’m waiting on a loom to come so I can continue the rebuild
Modifications
The 220kw motor has had the equivalent of a Herrod 250kw package done to it. That’s a new cam and porting of the heads and inlet manifold
