History
I purchased it when the big bushfires were happening on Kangaroo Island and the east coast states from Brisbane. I got it trucked to Adelaide and I picked it up from there and bought it home. Unfortunately while it was waiting to be picked up from the Queensland depot someone had stolen a lot of parts out of it. The owner before the bloke I purchased it was the person who built the car initially and he had started to pull it apart to do a big build on it and had to sell it because of his divorce. After getting it home I removed the dash as it was just sitting in there. I found that mice and rats had chewed on the wiring so I repaired all the looms and plugs before refitting the dash. I bought a new inlet manifold and my mate helped me fit it. I spent the best part of the next year trying to get it to run on petrol, it would run on start you b****** but not fuel. Eventually I met a bloke that is very cluey with the E series fords and he said that the ECU needed to be rebuilt. Injectronics in Melbourne rebuilt it for me and I was very happy that it started straight away after getting it back. It’s currently waiting for a new exhaust to be fitted and the 2 new bumpers painted and fitted. Once I’ve saved enough to replace some concrete in my shed so I can install my 2 post hoist it will come in and get finished
