History
Heratige listed in 2004 as a genuine RHD Home market build on 7th May 1954 she came straight to NSW, Australia. Only about 10,000 BN1s were built and then, only 10% of those were built as right hand drive ( Hence the description "Home market" on the Heratige Certificate) So basically only about 1000 genuine RHD BN1s were made. So they do have, in my opinion, a certain rarity about them. She had a full chassis up restoration between 1983 and 1988 and the original Carmine Red paint was matched to a Mercedes Benz Signal Red. The then owner in NSW sold her to Victorian enthusiasts, Linda and Ralph Fletcher in 2004 I purchased her in January 2010 and she now lives in Queensland.
