History
A New Zealand assembled Cordia, with a similar power to the pre-unleaded Australian GSL. It was well equipped for that time with power steering and windows and a good standard of trim and stereo cassette. Like many NZ built cars of that era it was not air-conditioned which was not a great problem when we lived in Wellington NZ. It was originally owned near the Coramandel, then by a ships captain who only used it when on shore leave; it had only 36,000km when we bought it in 1995. It had ample power for our needs, and flat balanced handling that made it an enjoyable car to drive on NZ's winding roads.
NZ Mot records show it was sadly written off around year 2000 at 96,000kms.
