History
After World War 2, AC Cars of Thames Ditton England came back into the market by releasing the two litre range in 1947. But it was not until 1953 when the company released the Ace Sportscar, that its reputation was made. The AC Ace’s were the predececor to the iconic AC Cobra which was estentially the same car fitted with a V8. For more details on the AC Ace, click ’here’.
The one you see here has been part of the Team Penrite collection since 1979. It is one of only 37 Mk5 models built by the factory and is fitted with the straight 6 Ford Zepher engine.
