I purchased my TD2000 roadster car about 10 months ago. It is the most amazing car I have ever owned.
considering around 100 of these great little cars were factory hand built in Australia and sold with a new car warranty plus they even passed crash tests and were engineered to a very high standard for a replica car . I am surprised they are not more highly recognised as the individual Australian classic they really are. Some of these Australian built vehicles are getting around 26 years old and when you see how they have survived the years in the hands of passionate owners it is a testament to their build quality.
Being built with a mostly fibreglass body, rust is not a problem and having a modern drive train makes the cars very much more drivable than the 62 year old MG-TD that this car is a replica of, but with modern refinements.
The Australian built cars were fitted with Nissan motors and a further 400 cars were factory built in Malaysia these cars were fitted with the Toyota RAV4 Motor.
