I purchased this car from a woman in WoolawareNSW approximately 1988?, it was Kalahari Tan, the car looked like it is, Changed it to grey metallic, I fully restored it, painted it the front yard, had the interior reupholstered at mates rates for $400, A friend had an uncle who lived in California who was agreeable to order a 2180 with twin 40 webbers for me, for which I was most grateful, went very well, Cost delivered to my door was $4500, Thanks Rob,(Friend) Had it for some years and decided to sell, sold to another woman, When I decided to get back into VW's I tried to find it, but no luck, then a long time later I saw it in a picture of it, and followed it up and learnt that it suffered a fire and another engine fitted, It was in a workshop when the current owner saw it and enquired about it, although, was not for sale, after many requests to purchase, finally success another woman owner who fell in love with it, Lucky Lynne, It now lives in Gunnedah and will be fully restored.

2180 motor, ext oil cooler, twin webber carbs, dual muffler exhaust, custom interior with recaro seats, console, 6 and 7 inch rims
