One of my all time favourite cars I wanted since I was 15. Bought this as a mustard yellow restoration project to sweeten the deal when I bought some land. First thing was to strip it and complete the missing body kit parts and paint it all Pure Red. It took me three months to decide on the colour... it had to be red, as there is no song about any other colour corvette, but I never knew there were so many variations to the colour red! that all done, imported some race wheels, removed the exhaust which sounded like a boat out of water and installed a dual 3" stailess steel exhaust, sounded so sweet & purred like a lion. rebuilt the trans and the rest was ready to go as the engine just needed a tune up. Took it for a few hot laps around the Clipsal 500 a few years ago, was awesome!!!
