History
It was purchased as a factory stock '97 SS in late 2009 with just over 96000 Km on the clock. It spent some time with Scott Hendren at "Chip Contol" in Sunbury Vic. getting the engine mods done. As that was happening I was buying the things I wanted for it.
Modifications
ENGINE
Custom aluminium port matched high flow, high rise intake manifold and mafless tuned OTR cold air intake. Custom twin 55mm throttle body. Billet clutch master cylinder,polished aluminium oil catch can, polished aluminium radiator overflow tank and various billet, aluminium and chrome components. Silicone radiator, overflow and washer hoses.
Heads ported, polished and shaved 10 thou giving with Yella Terra roller rockers and heavy duty double valve springs.
Crane 888241 roller camshaft.
Pacemaker extractors into a 2 ½ inch twin cat back exhaust system with high flow catalytic convertors .
Rev limiter set at 6200 rpm.
12.3 litres per 100 Km. Highway.
EXTERIOR
CSA Typhoon 17x8in wheels. VX rear boot garnish.
Custom mesh grill with UV Leds inserted behind the grill. Alltezza chrome head lights and black tail lights. 24crt Gold plated "lion" bonnet badge with custom gold "Commodore" and "SS" rear badges and gold V8 side badges.
INTERIOR
Door trims, glove box, fuse cover, steering wheel and console lid covered with Italian leather inserts. Custom blue crazed dash and centre console.
UV Led roof light with UV front and rear foot well lights and UV centre console lights all individually switched. UV Led lights in the boot. Pillar mounted Tacho with shift light. Temperature and voltage gauges mounted on steering wheel cover.
White speedo dial with blue dash leds
Genuine HRT foot rest, clutch, brake and accelerator pedals.
Clarion touch screen head unit with front splits and door mounted Alpine SPS series speakers and a Fli Trap 12 inch 1200 watt subwoofer.
