History
Original owner had the car for 2 years. The original engine was changed out at 100,000miles in 1979 when the second owner wanted to go interstate for a holiday. Back then it was common in Adelaide to change out engines before a big drive. He then had the odometer/spedo re-calobrated to kilometers. My brother then bought the car in 1992 and began a full restoration after moving to Queensland. The car had since been to Cairns and Sydney. Due to parking restrictions and a company car, my brother gave me the car in 2006 where I used it as a club car for 2 years. The engine was getting tyres so since 2008 it has been layed up awaiting someone to once again restore her. Service history since 1973 also kept.
Modifications
The second engine blew and the 2.3 was replaced by a 2.6 and an electic fan installed. Due to significant highway use the 3spd auto was replaced by a 4spd out of a Supra. Seat trim has some velour over the vinyl as my brother hated sliding from one side to the other around corners.
