History
I bought this from a deceased estate. It had been beautifully retrimmed in red leather, the alloy body had been poorly repaired and repainted. The hood was like new with very impressive functioning landau irons. The engine was not running and it had not moved for approx 10 years. I got it running, but the complexities of the engine being a double ohc engine scared me. I redid the front brakes found a hubcap at Bendigo swap meet, which must have been of this car, and drove it a few times around the block, literally. The gearbox was one of the best I had ever driven, beautifully waited column shifter, smooth. It was a great mechanical design (same as Aston Martin DB2), but the car was not that pretty. I sold it to an English car enthusiast who did a total rebuild on the car, which is a credit to him.
