Imported by an oil company, sold to me when it was near 10 yrs old, & had travelled a mere 14,083miles. This total option Collector series model left first owners with but two choices, what color paint , and whether to choose leather or wool broad cloth for seat covering. These 1979 Lincolns were America's last full sized super luxury car, 1980 models were substantially downsized and subsequent years saw this continue . As a passenger in a '79 Lincoln you are cocooned in what seems like a roadgoing vault where travel is not only comfortable but is also quick, smooth & whisper quiet .
